Pentagram was asked to design a signage program for the new New York headquarters of Bloomberg LP on Lexington Avenue. Paula Scher designed the static signage and Lisa Strausfeld (and team) designed the digital media displays.
The work of both teams converged on a new numeric typeface based on the current (in 2001) Bloomberg logotype. The result was that the Bloomberg identity was carried throughout the space by static and dynamic numbers ranging from floors to dollars in Bloomberg’s own business news feeds.
