This interactive collection of home appliances was created as part of GE's data visualization series.
Our approach was very much about understanding the kilowatt, the main unit of energy consumption. We converted kilowatts to dollars, gallons of gas (a relatable unit of energy consumption) and what we called "appliance specific units."
