Allied Works was selected as a finalist for the United Kingdom Holocaust Memorial in London. The project is an effort to document the stories of remaining survivors throughout the UK. The Memorial and a counterpart Learning Centre will be located in Victoria Tower Gardens, next to the Houses of Parliament along the River Thames.
We assisted the team (Architect—Allied Works, Artist—Robert Montgomery, Landscape Architect—Olin, Exhibition Design—Ralph Appelbaum, Structural Engineer—Buro Happold, MEP and Daylighting—Arup) in strategizing, organizing, writing, and visually presenting the competition proposal.
